Barry Guillory is a self-taught bit and spur maker with more than 25 years of experience.

Born in Vidrine, Lousiana, Guillory grew up with a passion for horses and horse care after his father gifted him a 2-year-old when he was in 4th grade. In his early 20s, Guillory tried his hand at building his first set of spurs while shoeing horses and taking in 2-year-olds. With no spurmakers near in Lousiana, Guillory endured many late nights and trial and error in perfecting his craft.
